Mercy Fund
We here at Ascentia are grateful for the abundance we have received. That is why we started the Ascentia Mercy Fund more than a decade ago – as a way to bless residents.
The Mercy Fund was created over 30 years ago and has evolved over the years. At its core, the mercy fund is designed to help residents in need, whether they are struggling with illness, job loss, and various other hardships. For example, in 2013 the Mercy Fund donated to residents of River Valley in Longmont, Colorado, who homes were damaged when due to flooding.
The Mercy Fund receives donations from Ascentia Employees, Investors, and Vendors, and the company matches the annual contributions on a dollar-for-dollar basis. Each year, the Mercy Fund raises over $50,000 in total contributions, which are later distributed to residents in need.
We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our residents in this way. The Mercy Fund allows various Ascentia Stakeholders the opportunity to contribute to a great cause, and ensuring that Ascentia communities continue to be a great place to live and work.
What Mercy Fund Recipients Have to Say
I live at Robbins Nest in Overton, Nevada. I had the good fortune of receiving a “Merry Christmas” gift card from your company. I am so grateful for your generosity. Along with what I have saved, this money has made it possible to fix my car and buy slippers.

No way, you didn’t have to do this. Every little bit helps at this time of year. This will guarantee a special Christmas dinner.
Steven and Trina, Aurora, Colorado
Thank you—this is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me.
